It all began when Patrick had the privilege of undertaking

early duty travels aboard rare airliners such as the Boeing 707 and the Ilyushin Il-62. Wanting to preserve these unique experiences – and especially to remember the magnificent sound of the engines – he started recording videos. One day, in a moment of boredom, he uploaded one of those recordings to YouTube – a simple action that would ultimately mark the beginning of what later became a world-leading aviation channel.
